The Accademia Gallery is Italy’s most visited museum, displaying a fine collection of sculptures, religious art and musical instruments. Our company organizes private tours to this exceptional gallery where Michelangelo’s David will mesmerize you. The Accademia Museum is not to be missed when visiting Florence.

ACCADEMIA ART TOUR | 1.5 or 3 HOURS
Our specialized art guide will introduce you to this amazing museum with a dedicated visit or as part of walking tour. The visit is focused on Michelangelo’s life and works, with special attention to the David and the “Unfinished Prisoners” set of statues. Also you will get introduced to a wide collection of medieval and renaissance religious paintings with a short tour of the musical instruments section upon request.

DETAILS
Meeting at your hotel or an established location. Walk to the museum and historical presentation. Entry and visit the Sala del Colosso where a religious renaissance collection of paintings is located. Tour of the “unfinished Slaves” by Michelangelo and entry to the main lodge where Michelangelo’s David is located, historical and artistic in depth explanation. Visit to ther sections including Byzantine style iconography, plaster collection and musical instruments section. Stop at bookshop and exit.

For 3 hours visit with walking tour, walk through the historical center area, mainly Piazza della Signoria, Duomo area and San Lorenzo Square on your way to the Accademia Gallery.

For the perfect art experience, follow the visit to the Accademia Tour with a visit to the Uffizi Gallery to see Italy’s finest art collection.
