The Chianti region between Florence and Siena is where some of the best Italian and international wines are produced. Immerse yourself in an amazing landscape filled with vineyards, olives and Tuscan wonderful landscape. On your way to wine tasting, you will drive through all this amazing landscape and learn about the history, the castles, the villas and the small towns spread all over this unique territory.

HALF DAY CHIANTI WINE TOUR

Your tour guide and driver will take you on a journey to discover the countryside surrounding Florence and drive through the old roads in the middle of vineyards, olives and farms. Stop for a break and short visit at various small Tuscan town and old castles. Discover the specialties of the region: wine, culinary products, art, ceramics and much more.

DETAILS
Pick up by sedan car of small luxury van at your hotel or an established location. Drive through Piazzale Michelangelo for a  short stop and panoramic view of Florence. Drive through the Strada in Chianti and visit the major Chianti towns. Arrival at the Winery for a visit and wine tasting with the producer’s wine expert. Drive back to Florence through a different road.

FULL DAY CHIANTI WINE TOUR

Discover the Chianti and visit many towns on the way between Florence and Siena with in-depth explanation of the region’s history and local traditions.

DETAILS
Pick up by sedan car of small luxury van at your hotel or an established location. Drive through Piazzale Michelangelo for a  short stop and panoramic view of Florence. Drive through the Strada in Chianti and visit the major Chianti towns with an extended stop in Greve in Chianti. Arrival at Winery for winery full visit and wine tasting. Short Visit to Siena and stop in Monteriggioni on the way back to Florence with an optional visit to a second Winery.

Professional sommelier Filippo Pastorini special event is dedicated to the lovers of bubbles seeking to understand the similarities and the differences between our Italian Spumante and the classical French Champagne. The tasting game will be tough, and we promise to stay neutral. So again, it is Italy versus France.

Meet your tour guide and wine expert for a short walk in the center of Florence and pre-introduction about Spumante and Champagne and the tasting ahead. Stop by Ponte Vecchio for a photo shooting before heading to the Enoteca and start this unique experience.

Tasting included 3 bottles of Champagne and 3 bottles of Spumante.

Champagne labels can vary as follow:

  • Legras (Blanc de Blanc Chardonnay).
  • Gobillard (Blanc de Blanc Chardonnay).
  • Jacquesson Cuvée 734 (Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay).

This tour is an eating parade of everything typically Tuscan found in small little food shops and unique restaurants around the city.

Discover, taste and enjoy all local specialties: hams and cheese, little snacks and tastings, fresh vegetables and fruits, grandma’s Florentine soups such as the famous Ribollita and Pappa al Pomodoro and why not: the legendary Florentine Steak.

Follow your guide and discover hidden corners of the cities where the locals eat. Mix with them and exchange points of view on everything you want. Follow up with a dining experience at a typical restaurant, where you can choose traditional Tuscan cuisine or contemporary one.

Visit to small typical groceries shops and familiarize your self with local fresh products and specialties. Continue tour with food and wine tasting and on request, follow up with a full meal, paired with local wines, at some of Florence best and typical restaurants and eateries. This is also an art/city tour on which you will learn about Florence under many aspects and hear about eating habits from old times until present time.
