Siena Tour – Discover the Hidden Heart of a Medieval Tuscan Town
Siena tours are intended to discover the hidden treasures of the beautiful medieval walled town: breath-taking views, less known churches and their works of art, charming little back streets and the unique atmosphere of traditional shops. Walking through Siena with a private guide means going beyond the obvious — stepping into forgotten oratories, quiet cloisters and neighbourhood squares that most visitors never find. You will understand why Siena has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995, and why its medieval urban fabric has remained virtually unchanged for centuries. Unlike a group tour, a private Siena experience moves at your pace, pausing where you are curious, lingering where the beauty demands it.
Book your Siena tour with Touring Florence and experience this extraordinary medieval city the way it deserves — privately, deeply and at your own pace.

Our walking tours are focused on the history of Siena and the old underground aqueduct, the green spots and orchards within the walls still surviving since the middle ages, the appalling relics of saints and the hospitality offered to pilgrims from all Europe, the Tower and Castellare home to the Medieval Senese aristocracy. Siena offers a very large number of stunning museums: the Duomo and it’s amazing mosaics, Palazzo Pubblico, Museo dell’Opera del Duomo where you can find all the major works of art spanning from the XIII° to the XVI° century together with the less known ones like the Pinacoteca Nazionale, Antico Ospedale Santa Maria della Scala, Museo delle Biccherne and the Museo Archeologico Etrusco.
Half Day Walking Tour
On this Siena tour, your guide will introduce you to this amazing old town perched on 3 hills and surrounded by a breath-taking view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. Siena is a city full of magic: medieval art, twisted streets, unique views, hidden corners, majestic Renaissance history, well-kept traditions and stunning local products. The tour will also focus on Siena’s fierce rivalry with Florence that led to many disputes and battles — a tension that shaped the identity, art and architecture of both cities in ways that still resonate today.
