Full Day Chianti Tour
Your tour guide and driver will take you a journey to discover the countryside surrounding Florence and drive through the old roads in the middle of vineyards, olives and farms. Stop for a break and short visit at various small Tuscan town and old castles. Discover the specialties of the region: wine, culinary products, art, ceramics ecc …

Pick up by sedan car of small luxury van at your hotel or an established location. Drive through Piazzale Michelangelo for a short stop and panoramic view of Florence. Drive through the old Chianti road to Siena and visit the major Chianti towns with a long stop in Greve in Chianti or Verrazzano Castle (the famous Italian navigator that discovered the Hudson bay). Lunch and wine tasting break at an established location.

In the afternoon, your driver and tour guide will follow a planned itinerary, as agreed on previously, or suggest to visit castles and towns in the area (Panzano, Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, Volpaia ecc…) or head straight toward Siena and San Gimignano.

During the tour, you can shop for wine, olive oil and other typical products.

… Where you admire the most amazing panorama of Florence.

Fiesole is one the oldest villages of the Etruscan confederacy that prospered in central Italy between the 9th and 3rd century BC. Conquered by the Romans in 283 BC, the small town is strategically located on the hills north of Florence and is famous for an extraordinary panoramic view on the Florentine area and amazing landscape. It is also known for a well conserved Roman theater, baths and a museum with ancient artifacts.

On this half day, you will to get immerse yourself in the Tuscan countryside without having to get far away from Florence and its historical center. In few hours, you will get to discover one of the most beautiful Italian small town and its history and stop for many photo shoots on your way.

Meet in Florence and head to Fiesole by bus or van with driver. Stop at central square, historical presentation and facts about the town. Visit to the cathedral of Fiesole and access to the archeological museum and Roman theater. Walk up to the monastery of S. Francesco with a panoramic view of Florence and promenade in the gardens.

Villas and Castles

Villas and Castles

Spend a full day touring the Medici’s Villas and Castles built between the 13th century up to late 17th century. All Villas are surrounded by breathtaking gardens immersed in a unique landscape between vineyards and olive trees.

Visit with your tour guide and driver the castles and Villas of powerful families and feuds that controlled the territory of Tuscany in past centuries. Learn about the architecture  behind each construction and its function. Visit the interior spaces and learn about daily life in old times.

Pick up by sedan car of small luxury van at your hotel or an established location. Visit to two of the Medicis’ Villas surrounding Florence and detailed explanation. Lunch break at a historical location near a Villa. Spend the afternoon exploring old medieval  castles in the Tuscan region and visit the surrounding properties. You also get to meet the owners of some Villas and castles and hear about the family’s history and legacy.
