Tuscan & Italian Wine Tasting
A Curated Exploration of Terroir. Immerse yourself in a private tasting journey designed to reveal the soul of the Italian vineyard. This selection features a meticulously balanced flight of iconic reds and crisp whites, spanning from the legendary hills of Chianti and Montalcino to the hidden gems of the Maremma coast. Each glass offers a window into the history, climate, and craft that define the most prestigious appellations of Tuscany and beyond.
Red Wines
- Chianti Classico (Tuscany) — The iconic Sangiovese from the hills between Florence and Siena, recognizable by its famous black rooster label.
- Brunello di Montalcino (Tuscany) — One of Italy’s greatest reds; a powerful, long-aged Sangiovese from the historic hilltop town of Montalcino.
- Vino Nobile di Montepulciano (Tuscany) — An elegant and complex Sangiovese from the Renaissance town of Montepulciano, traditionally known as the “noble wine.”
- Morellino di Scansano (Tuscany) — A softer, approachable Sangiovese from the Maremma coast, characterized by its fruity, Mediterranean spirit.
- Barolo (Piedmont) — The “King of Italian wines,” a bold and tannic Nebbiolo from the Langhe hills, among the most prestigious bottles globally.

White Wines
- Vernaccia di San Gimignano (Tuscany) — One of Italy’s oldest white wines; crisp and mineral, hailing from the famous medieval tower town near Siena.
- Vermentino di Toscana (Tuscany) — Aromatic and fresh, this coastal favorite is increasingly popular throughout the Maremma area.
- Bianco di Pitigliano (Tuscany) — A rare Trebbiano-based blend from the striking tufa stone town of Pitigliano in southern Tuscany.
- Pinot Grigio delle Venezie (Veneto) — Italy’s most internationally recognized white; light, crisp, and famously easy-drinking.
- Greco di Tufo (Campania) — A full-bodied and mineral powerhouse from the volcanic soils of Irpinia near Naples.
Dessert Wines
- Vin Santo del Chianti (Tuscany) — The most beloved Tuscan tradition, this iconic dessert wine is crafted from dried Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes. Aged for years in small, traditional barrels called caratelli, it develops a deep amber hue. It is famously served alongside crunchy almond cantucci biscuits for the ultimate dipping experience.
- Moscadello di Montalcino (Tuscany) — A rare and delicate sweet Moscato produced on the very same prestigious hills as Brunello. This light, floral dessert wine offers elegant hints of fresh peach and apricot, providing a refreshing and sophisticated finish to any Tuscan meal.
- Passito di Pantelleria (Sicily) — Arguably Italy’s most celebrated passito, made from sun-dried Zibibbo grapes on the rugged volcanic island of Pantelleria. It is rich, velvety, and intensely aromatic, boasting complex notes of dried honey, apricot, and sun-drenched orange blossom.
